SOURCE: water will only dispense out of the frother.

It could be several soutions to this problem. First of all, try to clean the sieve in the brew unit, it may be clogged. Take out the tray, in between the 2 brown "lips" inside you can put your finger up and clean out all the old coffeegrounds stuck up there. Then put everything back in place and run a Rinse machine operation.

If this is not helping, listen out when you start up the machine; You should hear that the valve is turning 3 times, if it doesn`t it can be a problem with this valve not opening in right position. Then all the water would go out in the tray, and not into the brew unit. That maybe can be solved by changing this Multi ceramic valve or the Main Electronic board. Then it`s a job for a sertified Jura technician.

SOURCE: All water directed to Frother/ Water nozzle on Impressa C%

The Multivalve seems to be stuck. When you start up the machine you should hear the multivalve turning 2 times, if it`s silent, the valve is defective. This valve is important to guide the water in the right direction. Contact your servicedealer and let them have a look. There`s also a small chance that the electronic board are sending wrong or no signals to the valve

SOURCE: water not pumping out of coffee machine

It seems that the coffee solenoid valve is blocked or broken. Cofffe solenoid valve is the valve which open to deliver the water after the pump to the coffee shower.

How can I avoid bitter coffee?

If the water that comes into contact with the coffee grounds is too hot, you will extract bitter elements from the coffee. The water should not be boiling when poured on the coffee grounds. Coffee oils, fats and sediment are the natural parts of the coffee bean that causes bitterness by forming as the brew ages. The longer the coffee sits the stronger it tastes.

After moving my machine from MD to WI (it was shipped laying on its side) the machine grinds and makes all the usual noises, but instead of dispensing coffee, water pours out of the milk frother.

Hi
If you packed it on it steam valve side you bent the valve shaft and its holding the needle open. Your going to have to remove the shaft and replace it with a new one.

I have had my Gaggia Syncrony Compact for over 5 years. Just recently, I have started have several issues. Water is dumping with the grounds in the dump box, the espresso programming set is resetting every...

Instead of explain one by one the problems you have mention I would like to mention the things that are the most important and expensive in your machine and all are seems to work just fine.
The grinder is working good maybe need cleaning and adjustment.
The water coffee boiler work fine.
The steam heating work fine.
The motor for coffeegroup work fine and the coffee group is working fine.
All you need is a trustable service engineer to replace some minor parts like the shower and "o" rings on the coffeegroup.
The frother plastic adaptor and "o" rings on the steam arm.
The water flowmeter for coffee which can cause inregular doses.
And from what I understand the PCB board "clock battery" so it will not loose the memory.
All the above parts including the labour cost will give you a machine that will work like new and do the same very good coffee as use to be and with a cost that worth it since it can be as low as 1/8 of the cost of a new machine. The most important is to find the good service man.
Hope that this will help you, Good luck.

Frother not working

It seems that the steam solenoid valve is stuck open. This can be because of a small part from water usualy scale or lese is stuck in bettween the solenoid valve rod, or the whole valve rod is full of scale so it can not move. You can open the valve an by using a wire brush you can clean all the parts and the valve can work perfect again. If the valve is rusty or full of hard scale then you need a new one.
Good luck.

Unable to get White Saeco Cuppacinno Machine to work.

Hi
I would say that your brew unit is not locked in.

Brew group missing indicator
Open the door on the right. Push on the upper left side of the brew unit until you hear a click. Close the door and see if the message is gone. If it is make sure that the grounds drawer is in place.
Tip: Pull the grounds drawer out, then push it back with only 1 finger and push it on the right side of the drawer. This will make sure that it engages the micro switch.

No steam comes to milk frother

Try this: 1. Pour in vinegar instead of water. 2. Bring vinegar to a boil but do not run it through the machine. 3. Turn off machine for about an hour. 4. Remove sheath from the frother and clean the metal tip. 5. Place tip of frother into large mug of cold water. 6. Turn espresso machine on and allow vinegar to run through frother. 7. You'll know the frother is clear when the water in the mug begins to churn rapidly (and perhaps loudly).
It may take the vinegar a little while to dissolve and loosen the blockage. If the process does not work the first time time, try again later and allow the warm vinegar to sit in the machine longer.

Optional: Before starting the process, unbend a paperclip or thin metal hook (the kind used for hanging holiday ornaments) and use it to clear the steamer orifice.
To keep frother clear: Follow recommended descaling schedule in user manual
