the system software is crashed and you will not be able to make copies and scan, until you replace the dc controller or upload new system.

Eeprom has been erased, usually a power surge causes this.
You will need a new logic board (the pcb with the USB connection on it).
Part number is - FM2-7795-000

Suggest you start the setup process over and that you first uninstall your current printer driver; download a new driver for your printer and operating system and then instal your printer.

Follow the Quick Start Guide for set-up. Instead of installing the driver from the installation CD; install the driver you have downloaded.

Make sure you have the driver for your operating sytem; Open Control Panel > click on System > look under System type.

Well. i removed the black main toner, shaked it, rolled the gear of the colours that had fingerprints, turned off the unit and start working again. well, i solved it that way, now i can fax again because i couldn' t even access any buttons, got stucked, hope it helps.
