Yes it is. It's a cheep fix. The fans are on ebay. If you have the manual for the TV. Look in the specs for the TV and locate the fan. You will see the voltage and rpm of the motor. Most likely it will be a 12v dc fan. It has two to four screws holding the fan. And a small plug. I hope this helps you in some way. THE CB SHOP OF COLEBROOK NH. Via Facebook.

SOURCE: Air conditioning fan makes loud noise the faster you ru it.

Concerning your broken vent -- this can be caused by a broken linkage or a malfunctioning servo motor as well. these vent have air ducts the sway back and forth to adjust the dual air flow function. if the servo o linkages are malfunctioning or not connected for some reason, it will not allow total control of the air flow and temperature range. Now, if you have a combination of a flow error and temperature error as well, thai can be caused by a combination of the two.

In this case, you will need to inspect the linkages as well as the servo motor function as well. in addition, i would test the air temp sensors for there operational value. they control the temp when you adjust the coll or hot function.

Concerning the Loud noise coming from the blower fan---

This issue can be caused by a misalignment within the blower housing or, it can also be caused by some minor damage within the motor itself, causing it to rotate in a erratic manner, in return, forcing it to rub against the housing itself. the best solution here is to extract this blower fan housing and inspect for lose fan propeller and motor stability. replace parts accordingly.

PLease rate and have a great day:)

SOURCE: When you turn the TV on it stops at the blue

Hello,
There is a software update that is available for some Mitsubishi dlp models. The wd-65c9 is one of them. When I experienced your problem, I went to the website, downloaded the update, and installed it on my tv and boom, its fixed. It's super easy, free, and takes a few minutes.

Mitsubishi 73" DLP powers on, through welcome

If you are getting at turn on source and back ground is all blue the set will shut down rather quickly;

I have a suggestion, if it works fine, and if not it will not hurt anything.

with original Mitsubishi remote turn set on and then Menu, 1,2,3, enter.

This is the soft reset that most of these sets have (cannot be sure since Model number above is correct?)

The reset button on the front (if it has it) just shuts the set down and reboots the DM unit inside.

Most of these sets when it is pressed the green light will blink for about 70 seconds and go out; that is the DM unit rebooting and the soft restart is something else.

Let me know what you find before you rate this information.

How to change lamp in mitsubishi wd 73733

Your TV is so-called V-36 chassis.
First shut off TV and unplug it from the wall.
On the back of the TV on the right hand side if look from behind you can locate plastic lamp cover that is removable. Behind the cover you will see lamp cartridge that held in place by screws that you have to loose using screwdriver. Remove lamp assembly and install the new one. Make sure that cartridge is all way in, you have to feel connection plug to be slide-in all the way. Tighten up screws but not too hard.
Reinstall lamp cover. Plug TV into the wall and wait for green LED light to stop blinking. Turn TV set on. It should display message "Power loss, did you replace the lamp?" You hit "enter" on your original Mitsubishi (not the cable box or Satellite box) remote control and this is it.
Regards.

Where is the Lamp located in the Mitsubishi 2004 model the number is WD-62327

Turn unit around facing you, either on right rear side or left rear side, generally looks as though it is a vent cover with one to three screws holding cover in place. UNPLUG TV BEFORE YOU WORK ON IT AS ELECTRICITY CAN KILL YOU.
