According to Motorola the battery is embedded in the headset and cannot be replaced. After much wading around I found this information hidden in FAQs at www.hellomoto.com/S9. There may be someone else at this site under the phone section who can help you more. It sounds like a good product except for the battery issue so I won't be buying one.https://motorola-global-en-usa.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/motorola_global_en_usa.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=12460&p_created=1201100242&p_sid=x6uDePEj&p_sp=

Low battery on a tk3202 two way radio

Hi Patrick,

Are you using rechargeable Ni-Cad batteries?

If so, buy Li-ion Batteries, Ni-cads have a memory and will recharge from last charge only, rather than fully charge.

Lithium Ion Li-ion batteries don't have memory issues, and therefore will recharge fully.

These are available as rechargeable types so, look for the rechargeable types.

I hope this has been helpful.

Best regards,
Peter

Hi Patrick!

I think your best bet here would be to contact Lowrance support. They have a toll-free number and will likely be able to tell you the transistor number over the phone.

Here's the link to their service guys!

Hope this helps and Good Luck!

Motorola s9 battery dead how to replace it. for replacement is there it is just use and throw one only? please let me know

After googling the problem, I saw a couple of PDF documents that said that Motorola would replace or change the battery, but the links to the documents were outdated. At this site, they said the battery is non-replaceable: http://direct.motorola.com/ens/s9/Headset_Home.asp.

I found this site for support, and it looks like it might be worth a try:
http://www.motorola.com/consumers/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=26428dda028e0210VgnVCM1000008406b00aRCRD
It looks to me like the battery can be replaced, at the service level, but that normally it is a throwaway item at the consumer level. See if they can help you, but, of course, get the price first, and that will tell you whether to have it fixed or replaced. Good luck, and hope this helps.

Switches off when in record mode

Hi Patrick,

That happens to mine when the batteries are getting low. More so when the flash is on auto.

Try disengaging the flash and see what happens. If it works, replace the batteries.

Best regards,
Mike

RCA remote not communicating with the TV

Stupid question; have you replaced the batteries?

You can probably get a downloaded user guide from here:

www.safemanuals.com

www.retrevo.com

If those fail, try the RCA (Thompson) website.

Hello Patrick!
If you are technically able you can open the monitor and remove the key pcb( switch off remove power cable).Use a switch cleaning solution like wd40 to clean each switch (spray and operate a no. of times). This might solve your problem.Regarding where you can get it,Sorry I am in India and don't know where you might get it in your part of the world.
Please rate this solution and post your feedback.
