Hi
Make sure your TV does indeed support the resolutions you are trying to use. Some low quality HDMI cables can also be troublesome in higher resolution so try one you are sure to work.
Regarding to the desktop only being extended when using the RGB cables, try bringing up the desktop properties window, select the TV as the primary monitor and select "Use this monitor as Primary monitor". You might have to drag the windows Taskbar over to the other monitor, just rightclick the taskbar, uncheck "Lock the Taskbar" and drag it over to the other monitor.
Hope you find this solution helpful, and please rate it if you do so..
best regards,
Karl
SOURCE: no sound output from coaxial port on philips dvdr 3475
try setting your av signal selector to auto. if that daes not work go to your av set click on digital input setuo an make sure you have got one of your coaxial slots asigned to dvr1. you will get better sound by using a coaxial or optical hookup compared to hdmi. i've tryed both. hope this helps you , if it don't email me back at [email protected]. i also has a ppioneer av reciever, so i've been through the same trile and errors
SOURCE: NO audio on my TV/PS3 while TV connected with receiver via HDMI
Check the audio settings in the PS3 console. Then check the firmware version of HDMI that your receiver uses. It may be listed on the manufacturers webpage or in your manual. It must be 1.3a or 1.3b in order to work with your PS3. The downside to this is that there is no firmware "patch" to correct the problem. If you still have issues, post a reply on this thread and I can help you further and give you some options that "Will" correct the problem without degrading video and audio. Hope this helps.
