Most modern shower restrictors are permanently fixed and require some prying with a pick or small screwdriver and possibly drilling. Be careful that in removing some of the pressure reducing stuff you do not slip and put a hole in yourself. You don't have to get it all out, just enough to allow full pressure to the head.

Hi, all the shower heads that I replaced, the flow restrictor was always in the nut that you screw onto the pipe that comes out of the wall.it's a plastic disc, with a little hole in middle.you can use a coat hanger to pull it out.

their might be on the handel where the hose meets, but if really low water pressure then maybe more of a problem.

How I remove them is take a drywall screw and screw in to the flow restrictor. Then grab it with a pair of pliers and pull out.
