SOURCE: throttle cable

This advice is not model specific, but normally you would remove the air filter and access it that way.
Usually the actual fitting of the cable to the carburettor is pretty fiddly; sometimes it is easier to remove the carb, to do it.

SOURCE: The spring placement for the trigger replacement

Look at the old trigger and see where the spring has been rubbing. Place the spring around the trigger post and slide it into the trigger housing. With help of a small screw driver or scribe to flip the trailing end of the spring over the stop post in the housing. Hope this helps

SOURCE: installing throttle cable on Husqvarna 445 chainsaw

Try blocking the throttle arm on the carburetor in the wide-open position with a small stick, then deal with the trigger mechanism. In order to remove the cable from the carburetor, you need to remove the carburetor itself, then unhook the cable end at the throttle arm. Keep track of which fuel hose goes where if you do this. Hope this helps!

You need to inspect the throttle mechanism at the carburetor. When you pull the throttle trigger, it should move the throttle arm to it's 'full on' stop, and when it is released, the arm should come back to the idle stop screw. If the action seems to be indefinite, take the throttle trigger mechanism apart (make notes of part placement as you go), and clean it of sawdust and dirt. Don't run the engine until the throttle is working correctly. The 'stop' switch may also be full of sawdust, or the connecting wire may be damaged. Make sure the carburetor fasteners are tight as an air leak behind the carburetor can cause engine racing. Hope this helps!

325 X-L trimmer throttle doe not operate.

There should be a small recessed area off to one side inside the handle for the routing of the throttle cable...Look closely. The spring that controls the return on the trigger isn't too complicated either. It has to be held in place somehere on the throttle handle also and may have to be preloaded so there is tension on it when you install it..Look around closely in the area in the handle RIGHT above the trigger.
