My luxor tv said it needs to reboot and not to switch off, the on/off light has been flashing for around 2 hours, any idea how long yhis should take?

SOURCE: had 32" luxor tv 3 years. Now when turning it on just get flashing power light. used to turn on after few blinks but not now.

you need to take it to a TV shop
or... what i do is look on EBAY for a replacement PSU panel
for the exact model number
check the PSU pcb inside the set for its part number to help match it
you give too little info for me to help further
you need make model and exact problem

its a psu issue for sure.....
some electrolytic capacitors are dried up as its aged
this is the usual cause

SOURCE: When I switch my luxor TV off it keeps flashing

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.
