“no sound coming out from the speaker” Choose radio to see if sound produces from speakers. If no, check switching control (control which signal is inputted such as radio, CD and aux.)IC & its voltage as well as voltage & power amp, including their voltage supply. Don't forget to download pioneer XV-EV9 service manual. If it have a DSP, it is also need to be checked by an oscilloscope including DSP X'tal(crystal) signal I/O,clock signal such as, L/Rclock(LRCL), bit clock(BCK),audio clock(ACK), DATA I/O.

SOURCE: I have a Pioneer xv dv55 . My sub or speakers are not working!

I've had mine for nine (9) years and it fine, first make sure all coloured wire are connected to the sub correctly, press sys on your remote then press button 8 to test if the speakers are working then increase the volume to hear the spaekers. so to link TV audio/sound with DVD press sys then A-2 on the DVD remote, I hope these will solve ur problem?

SOURCE: No sound from front center and rear speakers on my xv-dv55

Hi
1st check your cables are inserted into the subwofer (which is the powersource)
however it sounds as though you have switched the player to mono mode to reset it try this
2. On your remote press the system button with the green ring around it 3. Then press the dts button (number 7) keep pressing it until the auto option appears (watch the little black display screen)
hope fully that should fix it
I am assuming that you no longer have the manual other wise you would have checked in there? But if you do and this does not work try read the first few pages on setting up the sound for your system.
