Where can I get polarization filters for an nec mx271

If they are not physically broken, brake cleaner and cotton wool will get them clean.
Don't put them back in the wrong way around!

sounds like polarizer filters.

The filter goes into the slot in the holder closest to the lens. You can then use the toothed edge to rotate the filter, just as you used to turn your old polarizing filter. It can be a little stiff, but it will turn.

It sounds like the polarizer filters are starting to ware due to heat build up, if you remove the lid and the main booard, there is a white plastic mesh cover over the lcd panels, you can remove this and adjust the polarizers for the red, green and blue lcds to adjust the black level, there are 3 hex bolts holding a plastic frames which in turn hold the pre polarizer filters, buy slightly loosening the bolt you can slide the plastic frames left or right to adjust the levels, buy you should mark the position before you start. this may not solve the problem but may help to improve it, unfortunately these projectors require special software to make electrical adjustments which is hard to get hold of.

Your FZ45 accepts 52mm filters. You can use any 52mm filters you wish on this lens.

There are two types of polarizing filters: linear and circular. The linear polarizing filters are for film cameras and *some* digital cameras. Circular polarizing filters are needed by many digital cameras because the linear polarizing filter types interfere with the autofocus programs. If you shoot in manual focus modes only, it won't matter which you buy. If you do use autofocus, you ought to try the linear before buying - otherwise, purchase the circular polarizer.

A yellowing image, especially if it's circular in shape indicates the BLUE LCD polarizer is burned from overheating or just a lot of hours on it & it needs to be replaced to make the yellow go away. You can purchase a new filter from hundreds of online retailers. Just do a search on Google for "NEC VT595 Filter"
REPAIRS:
If you're interested I do replace the polarizer filter panels. I have parts in stock for the NEC VT595. The repair quote is $50 & if you have it repaired the $50 is put toward the repair. The repair will include cleaning all the LCD panels, filters, lenses, etc. on the inside which will bring back the original sharp picture again. If you KNOW it is 5 volts then you only need to make sure that the amp is higher and never lower. Higher amp only means it can work without getting too hot. But the VOLTS MUST BE precise. For polarity it is MOST common to have the center pin PLUS and outer NEG/GND. When I fix laptops and put the powercord wrong nothing happens. When I get it right then lights go on on PC.

The problem you have lies either in the CRT or the CRT card. If you are familiar with the term Video B+, check this voltage at the collectors of each of the output transistors on the CRT card. You should read about 175 volts or so at each collector. You will probably find that the voltage on the collector for the GREEN output transistor is low. If so, pull the CRT card off the CRT (with the set off to prevent any arcing) and double check that collector voltage again. If it is back to normal, then you can suspect that there is a short of some kind with the GREEN gun in the CRT.
