I have a 54 inch flat screen JVC Genessa tv. When I turn it on, the blue light appears, then a red light begins rapidly blinking and the tv won't turn on. What's wrong?

Most likely your power supply is shot. That is the most common problem with tvs'. EIther power supply or convergance board. If tv won't stay on, then it's a bad power supply

Black screen

Check its power supply regulator circuit section for any loose solder terminals. Resolder all suspected solder terminals by applying little more fresh solder.
If you are handy, and sound in electronics, send your email address to me. I'll send a repair manual to your JVC model Tv, by return mail.

Please help!!! Problem with JVC DLP TV

You need to replace the power supply board. The new ones have a bigger heat sink - obviously JVC knows about the problem because they made the new ones bigger. It cost $250 from JVC and I installed it myself - took about 3 hours to do. If you are not tech savvy call a repairman. Hope this helps.
