Hello Sir,I have a Sony xperia E5 I have forgotten my pattern and it can't perform hard reset even if I try to flash it with Sony companion it can't be detected by any PC,please help me

You can do a hard reset by doing the following...

01) Press and hold down the "Calendar" and "iPAQ Wireless" buttons.
02) While holding down these buttons, use the stylus to lightly press the "Reset" button/hole on the back of the iPAQ until the screen goes blank.
03) Release the "Calendar" and "iPAQ Wireless" buttons.
04) Press the "Reset" button/hole again (so that it resets/powers on.)

SOURCE: I forgot my sony ericson

The phone needs to be hard reset. The only way to perform a reset on the phone is to download the Sony Ericsson update centre from their website onto a pc, connect your phone to the pc via a USB cable and perform the reset through the software which you downloaded.

Hi. Thanks for using fixya. This problem can be solved by reloading the software with flashtool or sony companion. There is no hard reset for Sony like other androids.

How to nulock sony xperia s lt26i
solution 1, Hard Reset SONY XPERIA S LT26i with Software Menu :
  1. Make sure the battery is charge properly
  2. Turn on SONY XPERIA S smartphone
  3. Don't forget to backup all important data
  4. Go to menu: Setting > Backup & Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Phone
  5. Choose Erase everything to continue and confirm you ready to do the format SONY XPERIA S
  6. The SONY XPERIA S will continue the step until ready to use in clean factory default.
solution 2, Hard Reset SONY XPERIA S LT26i with Flashtool applications:
  1. Flashtool in the applications from Sony can be download from Sony website.
  2. Flashtool software need to installed in you computer and ready with USB data cable
  3. Make sure SONY XPERIA S battery is charge properly or full charge
  4. Power off SONY XPERIA S
  5. Boot SONY XPERIA S to flashmode with using: Volume Down Button and connect to USB cable at No.1 above
  6. Follow the menu at you computer display, it is easy to understand the steps.
solution 3, Hard Reset SONY XPERIA S LT26i with Hardware Key Button:
  1. Make sure the battery fully charge
  2. Do not forget to backup all important data
  3. Turn off the SONY XPERIA S
  4. Press and Hold together: Power Button + Volume Up Button for several seconds
  5. Follow the menu at LCD screen to continue the hard reset SONY XPERIA S
Be careful before doing this step to master reset, because all important data and applications will be removed from SONY XPERIA S, we always suggest you backup all important data before performing the hard reset.

I HAVE FORGOTTEN THE PASSWORD OF MY SONY ERICSSON XPERIA 1X MOBILE PHONE. HOW DO I UNLOCK THE PHONE?
I'm afraid you'll have to hard reset your device to get rid of the password request screen. Hope you have a recent backup of your personal data, to be restored afterwards, because a hard reset procedure sets your device to its factory defaults. Anyway, here it goes: - If your device is not already in stand-by, press the power button to turn it off; - Press and hold both left and right buttons on the front of the device (the ones right under the screen); - Whilst keeping holding the keys, briefly press the power button to turn the device on; - Release the keys only after a blue screen asking for confirmation comes up; - Slide the qwerty keyboard and press 'r' (for reset).
