If you have replaced all the parts except the gas valve. Before replacing that part you might want to consider the cost. The gas valve is the most expensive part on the water heater. If the tank is older than 10 years old it may be more benificial to just buy a new water heater. Because you don't know after investing in the new gas valve that the water heater may decide to leak.

You need to get a service tech to hook it up for you and yes you need to take advantage of the two speed furnace and varispeed air handler. If it is set up correctly you will be more cpmfortable and will have amuch lower energy bills. Tey are not hard to wire but you have to know what you are doing to do it right.
