My accessory handset wont stop flashing?

This sounds like the Voice Mail Waiting Indicator.

To manually reset (turn off) the alert indicator one
usually scrolls through the phone MENUs to find
a selection labled something like "VMWI Reset?"
and choose "Yes" or "Off".

Specifics vary by make and model... the model
number of your phone can be found on a small
sticker underneath the battery in the handset
(eg, CS6229).

Take this model number to www.manualslib.com
to download a free copy of the User's Manual
and learn the full details of what your phone
can (and maybe cannot) do for you.

Good luck!

After VMWI resetting and after a couple of minutes later the message icon appears on the screen again

The "driver" for this VMWI indicator is a signal from the
Telephone Service Provider alerting you to messages
waiting in their VoiceMail system.

To clear their voicemail messages, the procedure of the
Telephone Service Provider must be followed.

Call your telephone service provider to learn how to
manage their VoiceMail.

Good luck!
