Speed Queen Washer agitates and cycles appropriately but does not spin fast enough to properly get the water out of the clothes.

I can wring water out of clothes after the spin cycle is over. It is not overloaded, the worn belt was replaced, and the pump works like a CHAMP. Top loader AWN412

Speed Queen RPMs are low! 710 + - is half of what it should be. This is per their own specs.

I hope that you ordered the correct part, Also there is an idler pulley that maintains the belt tension and that needs to be checked for proper tension.

SOURCE: Cloths Soaked after Spin Cycle

If the motor has a transmission, it could be stuck in 1st gear. I think the agitator running is normal.

SOURCE: Washer won't agitate or spin out.

Well it is ethier Belt, Cluch ,motor ,Or transmission. But it does sound like your transmission . The loud clunk is the brake in the gear case ( Trans.). It might have broken off.

Kenmore Series 70 Top Loading Washing Machine Model # 110.20722991 Serial# CL 1134809 Hello, Our washing machine is leaving our clothes soaking wet when finished. What could the problem be?

2 things are possible. Can you tell if the spin cycle is engaging? If the spin cycle is not engaging properly or very fast, then the water will not leave the clothes. less likely is that the machine is not draining the water away properly or fast enough.

Sounds like the clutch may be slipping. Does it go into a high speed spin?

Spin is not going fast enough to dry out clothes

spin is not suppose to dry the clothes, simply wring the most water it can from them.

are you sure you are not set on a gentle cycle? might your washer offer a extra spin cycle?

When in spin cycle does not drain all the water we have to hand wring all clothes

if all of the water does not drain could be the water pump or if the washer does not spin fast enough to wring the clothes could be a worn out motor or tansmission

Spinning fast and furious, just doesn't wring clothes dry

It sounds like you need a water pump!
See if it's pumping water next time you do load by looking at the discharge hose going to the drainage pipe and get back to me!
