Hi. I have an Alpine CDE-173EBT car stereo and I am unable to adjust the mic gain using the mic button. At present when I answer a call with Bluetooth I can hear them but they cannot hear me.

Setting Time
1 In the Clock priority mode, press and hold
TITLE for at least 2 seconds while the time is
displayed.
The time indication will blink.
2 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843
only) or press
4 and 3 (CDE-9841 only) to adjust
the hours while the time indication is blinking.
3 When the hour has been adjusted, press the
Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843 only) or
press MODE (CDE-9841 only).
4 Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843
only) or press
4 and 3 (CDE-9841 only) to adjust
the minutes while the time indication is blinking.
The time is automatically set 5 seconds after the minute
adjustment. The time can also be manually set by
pressing the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/CDE-9843 only)
or press MODE (CDE-9841 only).
• To synchronize the clock to another clock/watch or radio time
announcement, press and hold the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845/
CDE-9843 only) or press and hold MODE (CDE-9841 only) for at
least 2 seconds after setting the “hour.” Minutes will reset to 00. If
the display shows over “30” minutes when you do this, the time
will advance one hour.

remove the face and then the trim ring for face you should see 2 little pins on either side of the radio slide them up and it should slide right out

Hello bitterswe834,

To set the time, do this:

1. Press TITLE repeatedly until the time is displayed.
2. Press and hold TITLE for at least 2 seconds while the time is displayed. The time indication will blink.
3. Use the volume control to adjust the hours while the time indication is blinking.
4. When the hour has been adjusted, press MODE.
5. Turn the volume control to adjust the minutes while the time indication is blinking.

How to adjust TIME on Alpine CDE-7856

Once you get the time blinking it is buttons 5 (hour) and 6 (min) that adjust the time.
These are channel buttons on the far right: they are green and are on the bottom edge.

which "sub level" are you talking about? dB? or gain? either one, you must open your am and check the variable resistors ("volume" knobs) with a multimeter
