03 chev silverados have recall on instrument psnel for speedometer defefect. All onstruments were affected on my 03. Chk with dealer for recall time and mileage limitations to resolve. Good Luck

Depends on how much smoke you are getting as to how serious it could be. Just a little could be nightly condensation. A good bit could be failing valve seals. You don't have oil in the water or water in the oil and I am assuming you aren't loosing water on a daily basis so no blown head gasket, we hope.
