Loud Buzzing Sound

Hear a loud buzzing noise in back of tv whenever I try to turn it on. No video or sound and the light combinations on the front indicated a lamp. Replaced the lamp and the loud buzzing sound continues and still no video or sound.

ok cool thanks... I will look into it. Also I have another question. The noise left when I disconnected the DVI cable connected to the DMD Board. I put another DVI cable there and the tv acted as though it was going to come on. Could I just have a bad DVI cable?

Since you changed the lamp my next thought is that the color wheel has failed,,,most good road techs can replace it in the home..the cost would be between 220.00 and 350,00 depending on the company...

Hello why do I have a loud buzzing noise coming from my umc combination 21 inch television so bad you cannot here program dialogue ?

You need to send your TV Model first, but in general any strange sounds in a TV come from the followings:
1- High ripple in the power supply of the sound card.
2- Bad polarized capacitors in the sound card
3- High noise in the main power supply (SMPS)
4- For CRT tv, weak insulation of the Line Transformer
5- An external source near your TV set which is picked by your TV and amplified.

Humming sound

Samsung states - A buzzing sound from your plasma TV is normal. It is caused by the electrical charges used to create the images on the screen. The buzzing, however, should not be so loud that you can hear it when the volume on the TV is set at normal levels. It is also important to determine the type of buzzing sound. A sound like a ground hum is completely normal. This buzzing can originate near the power cord connection or from the SMPS board position on the upper back of the TV. The buzz will be more audible as contrast increases on the screen, most notably when displaying an all white screen. If the buzzing sound is loud, you may have the Contrast set too high. Lower the contrast to reduce or eliminate the buzzing. You may also have loud buzzing if the rear of your Plasma TV is too close to a wall or other hard surface. Try moving your TV away from the wall until the buzzing is minimized. [1]
If the buzzing is at a higher frequency and resembles a crackling sound (like the sound of Velcro being pulled apart), and originates from the upper middle back of the TV, you likely have a failing SMPS board. Place a support call with Samsung to have the SMPS board replaced.FP-T5084 Have a known buzzing problem with a very simple fix.If the buzzing is coming from the left or right sides of the rear and the volume can be changed by pressing lightly on those locations, you are probably hearing the vibration of the grounding springs on the back panel. Call Samsung (or whoever) and have a technician confirm the problem. The easiest fix is to insulate the offending spring by applying some felt tape.

Loud buzzing noise on vizio tv

It sound like you may have sound processor problem which is part of the main board, I would also look at the 12vdc from power supply to make sure it is clean DC.

Loud buzzing noise with Whirpool microwave oven when it comes on. All lights, heating and fan seems to work but not sure why loud buzzing. What is the problem?

The loud buzzing you hear is the sound of the magnatron tube. That is what emits the microwave radiation and buzzing should be normal. The mag tube may be nearing its end at witch time you will hear no buzzing and hence no heating of foods. Replacement can be costly depending on the model so most people just opt for a new one. Hope this helps
