Can not print on my ricoh 2018

If its what I think it is, then the error occurs when your machine is receiving a corrupted print job. This is shown by the data light flashing for several minutes before showing the error.
If this is the case, then unplug the network cable from the machine, power the machine off & on & wait until it comes ready. If the machine comes ready then try a photocopy. If that works then it is a corrupt print job. Before plugging the network cable back in, check any PC's that print to the copier & check the print queues to see if any PC's are still spooling a print job. If so, delete the print job & re-connect the network cable & test the machine.
I have found most corrupt print jobs will be from the internet & will have "www......" listed as the print directory list.

Print Ready Temperature Error

1. Check the voltage of the wall outlet.
2. Replace the fusing unit
3. Replace the fusing lamp.
**Execute "Engine Maintenance Menu" to recover the machine after
completing the recovery procedure. Otherwise, the machine continues to
issue this SC code and cannot be operated.

You need to configure a IP address on the machine (MP1600) for you to be able to see on the network .

Set and write the correct IP adress.

From what you say i think you have an IP conflict.
Unplug your machine and ping that IP address to see if you have response.
If you have a response it is because you already have this IP configured in other equipment.
You can also make shore if the network card of the machine is working. Plug a cable directly to the machine and see the result.

Your corona wire is not function properly ... dirty or broken ... and/or the heater is not up to par.

Replace the corona and the heater roll to fix this problem.

Sounds like the registration clutch is faulty. The knocking maybe the fuser unit jumping gears check that unit also check that the green paper holders are all in the correct place.

For to use the network printer first of all you should have a network connection port.
If you have one on your printer than you should install a driver on the computer from where you will print then connect the cable with network LAN cable which the one end is connected into the printer and the other into the network switch or router. After this is done go to start menu on you computer than go to printers and faxes and select the printer driver 1515 press the right click and click on properties then go to port and create a TCP/IP port similar to the computer ip address.

EXAMPLE:
if the address on the computer is 192.168.0.100
than put the address of the printer as follow
192.168.0.101

Please look at the paper sheet which is printed from the machine by her self when the machine is turned on for the first time in the day.
There should have a port name which can be 10001 or 9100 or 9101 or similar.
Enter that number in the TCP/IP port properties than go to the machine and press the [User tools/ Counter] key then go to system settings and than network settings and enter there the ip address which you had enter before on the driver in the computer.

This model can be used as a printer and a scanner , but you need to add a print scan controller wich you can obtain at any ricoh otlet .
