Sylvania mp3 player smpk1021/smpk2021

Well folks after thinking about this long and hard, I have finally figured this little device out. What we all though was a piece of junk works!! Just wish some directions would have been sent with the MP3 Player. All you need to do is simple make sure you have Real Player the SMPK 2021 is completely compatible with this player drag and drop your music and add to your device. It works great.. you can also delete any old music and upload new music but all needs to be done through your real player!! You can also add videos the same way!!! I am more than willing to help you out... took me long enough to figure it out, hate to see someone bang their head against a wall as much as I have.... so good luck My Mp3 is now rockin

Does anyone know if the sylvania smpk4066 a good mp3 player is I've been looking everywhere for reviews but can't find any..HELP ME!!!

I have the 8Gb touch screen ant it works fine other than there is no game created for it that will work yet. For music use Nero 7 or 9 to create mp3 files. it also has photo editor change size of photo to 800 or less the photo will look the same yet takes up less space. for video use Prism Video Converter to change fly file. it takes text format so you could read books. I alredy plased 300 songs and 15 movies and I still have room for 1000 or more songs or a nother 30 to 40 movies. If you happen to find a game please let me know.

I have been able to do anything with my smpk 2021 since I got it, the software provided with I got it is outdated for my windows XP 2000 also when I connect to my computer it doesnt even get recognized as new hardware. all it shows is USB connection.. what the hell is going on with this.. I would love to also know how to contact sylvania if anyone knows..

Hello i just go this thing a few days ago and mine works fine. to add music you just drag over a song. same thing with photos and movies just put them in the folders. here are the music suports--mp3 wma
thats what music it suports so it should say examplesongmane.wma or .mp3
with video it suports .smv that should solver your problems. =)

I am trying to put music on my sylvania 1 gb mp3, worked the frist time but when i wanted to delete some to add different songs it wouldn't let me, Ended up deleteing all the songs and now it says there is no space, nothing is on the player just the sub files, i reset and still nothing how can i fix

I do not know what is wrong with this device I put the cd in and nothing happens!! no instructions how to download!!!

Can someone help me figure out how to get video on my MP3 player?! says it doens't have the right codec!

I had the same problem, spoke to tech support, hold down the play and volume buttons together for 10 seconds, it resets the player to factory settings! Good luck!

I just purchased a Sylvania MP3 Player (SMPS4018) for CDN$39.99

I bought it for the following points:
-its 4GB (my prior mp3 was 1GB)
-its powered by a AAA battery (usable ANYWHERE!)

When I physically compared it to the RCA Lyra 4GB TC1604 (CDN$69.99) I was amazed to discover that the Sylvania model was WAY louder and clearer than the more expensive model. Additionally the Sylvania offers:
-small flashlight
-water proof/resistance
-neck strap
AND a slew of cool display perks.

NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! Although package manual/instructions are vague its easily decipherable with some time. Drag and drop files to the unit.
