How is a using a smart blutoothe

Sony Ericsson phones have built-in Bluetooth capabilities which allow them to be connected to a computer or a Bluetooth-enabled accessory such as a headset or speakerphone without using wires. Since Bluetooth does take some power to operate, most Sony phones default to having the Bluetooth powered off to conserve battery power. You can power on the Bluetooth on your phone fairly quickly.
Step 1

Press the "Menu" button on your phone and then select "Settings" from the available options.
Step 2

Select "Connectivity" from the Settings menu, and then select "Bluetooth" from the available options.
Step 3

Select "Turn On" from the Bluetooth menu to power on the Bluetooth on your phone. If you only have a "Power Off" option, then your Bluetooth is already powered on.

Hi, Because you didn't give your phone model I'll give you a generic answer.

Menu to bluetooth
Click on bluetooth (this will turn it on)
Go to options
Click find bluetooth device
Turn on the device you want paired with you phone
The phone should see the device and then press OK when asked

You may have to tweak the instructions to match your phone and devices but that is easy to do, just follow the menu screen directions.

Lost instructions how to pair with my phone

Bluetooth technology is a way to boost your mobility when talking on the go. It similarly provides a wireless network for transferring files and pictures that you have acquired on a mobile device. Enabling and using this function can be beneficial whether for business or for pleasure.
  1. tep 1 Select from the menu "Settings" --> "Connectivity" --> "Bluetooth." This will bring you into the Bluetooth menu function, allowing you to configure your Bluetooth technology. In this menu, you'll find an option to turn Bluetooth on or off. Select "on."
  2. Step 2 Look for devices on the mobile phonemag-glass_10x10.gif that will be compatible with a Bluetooth device. There is a menu option to seek these devices. If a device is listed on the menu, you have the option to pair this device with your mobile phone. To do this you'll need to enter your security password. This is generally created when initially setting up your mobile device.
  3. Step 3 Check for the visibility option. The phone does have an option to either make your bluetooth device visible or invisible to other Bluetooth and mobile devices. It's your decision to remain private or broadcast your signal.
  4. Step 4 Use Bluetooth for data transfer. Once connected, you'll be able to transfer calls to your headset, transfer photos from your cell phone to your computer, transfer photos from your computer to your phone, and transfer files back and forth. Ensure your invisibility when transferring sensitive information to avoid hackers and losing information to other Bluetooth users.

Plantronics bluetooth headset 610

Hi. First the code. Almost every headset uses the code 0000 (that's 4 zeros).

Now the pairing. You didn't say which phone you are using. I'll assume you know how to get into "Options" (if not, please let me know what model you are using and I'll give you more specific instructions.

To connect your headset, start on your phone.
Open "Options"
Open "Bluetooth"
Open menu within Bluetooth.
If not already on, click "Enable Bluetooth"
Open Bluetooth menu again.
Open "Options".
Turn "Discoverable" to "Yes"

Now to your headset.
Start with your headset turned off.
Press and hold down the silver call control button.
After 6-10 seconds, the light will flash blue, then it will flash red, then blue.
Release the buton when you see the red/blue.

Back to your phone.
Again open "Options"
"Bluetooth"
Open the Bluetooth menu.
Click on "Add Device".
Your phone will search for your headset.
If you are prompted for a Passkey, use 0000 (that's 4 zeros).
After a short time, your headset will appear on your phone.
It is now ready to use.

Make sure you go back into Bluetooth Options and change "Discoverable" back to "No".

A tip: If you will not be using your headset for a while, "Disable" Bluetooth to save battery life.
