SOURCE: Vertical white line
My EP719 had the same problem. Did it once, briefly, soon after I bought it, then not again until recently, when the line came back more frequently and wider. The projector was 20 days past warranty, and the company would not honor. So much for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Last piece of Optoma equipment I will ever buy! Anyway, I found a web item on another model of Optoma projector with the same problem. The solution this guy tried was -- I kid you not -- rapping on the thing. With nothing to lose, I tried this on mine. Tapped lightly on the top and noticed a change in the width of the line. Hmmm ... it was sensitive to this. Tapped harder. The line got narrower. Rapped pretty hard -- thump! -- and the line disappeared. Since then I have been running the projector for hours, turning it on and off, letting it cool down, starting it up again. And the line seems to be gone. It may come back, of course, so this gonzo fix may not be permament. But if it works while I'm using it at a presentation, think of the amusement it will cause!

I recognize the problem. It mostly occurs when the plotter is exposed to moist during some days. The contactstrip which connects the computer to the screen gets moist and does not conduct in an optimal way. The result is a non readable screen with stripes
The solution is simple: press on the edges of the screen and the contact is re-established.
