It looks like what you need setup is port forwarding. You can visit this link for details specific to the router manufacturer.

Hope this helps :)

Once i open my router how do i actually open the ports for xbox tcp80,udp88,exctra im using a action tec gt704wg wireless router

http://www.actiontec.com/support/product_details.php?pid=40&typ=doc
Your manual above it also shows you how to open ports in there.
Also if you go to http://portforward.com/, they will show you how to do it too. Go to the link below.
http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip-xbox360.htm

Actiontec Gateways and Routers are compatible with the Xbox. However, it may be necessary to forward the ports used by the Xbox, in the Actiontec Gateway or Router. Without Port Forwarding, the Xbox Connection Test may report a "NAT" rating of "STRICT" or "MODERATE", rather than "OPEN".
It is also explained below...

Can't get NAT setting to Open for xbox 360. Won't connect to other users with open setting

The NAT is set to the actiontec modem/router so the next troubleshooting is to open the ports of the XBox ports 80, 3074, 53 TCP and 88, 3074, 53 UDP. To allow the XBox on the network using your modem/router.

I want to add a port to my Actiontec router, whats involved in do

I am going to make the assumption that you have the Actiontec GT704WG?

You will need to login in to the router using address: http://192.168.1.1

If you've never changed your username and password there, then you should use the default: admin and password. (You should really change that too!)

Click on Security.

You will need to add the port under the Applications area under the security settings.

There are rules established there to allow your game to play, just follow the screen prompts.

Your user guide is available here:

It wouldn't hurt to keep a copy.

I have a actiontec gt704wg trying to connect another router behind it .... iam not able to ...

your other router has to have the following settings:

1) it's IP must be on the same subnet as your actiontec. The subnet is the "third" number in the ip address. So if your actiontec has ip of 192.168.1.0, your other router must have IP of 192.168.1.XXX where xxx is some number other than 0.

2) the dhcp server of your other router must be turned off

3) you must run a lan cable from a lan port on the actiontec to a lan port on the other router. Note that the internet/wan ports are NOT used on either router for the purpose of daisy-chaining routers together.

How to Open NAT?

Look for a setting like "Virtual DMZ Host". It's hard to tell for sure without knowing the make and model of your router.

Play on xbox live via wireless

First your setup should be, wall (isp) > Actiontec DSL Gateway > Zyxel router > your computer

If that is already setup right, try the ip address of 192.168.1.1, some routers use this ip rather that 192.168.0.1

Hope that helps.
