I have put my document in the feeder, when I run the scan, I can hear the scanner want to pull the paper, but the tray does not lift. I ran the "count only" and that does not work either.
The paper tray is lifted by set of levers under the tray and the levers are operated by a motor, under the display panel. Check if the levers are in position. The motor movement is transferred to the lever by a plastic gear. Check if it is deformed. Normally motor does not fail.
