SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt DLX washer-can't open round panel in lower front

Its easy to do, and no you dont need to be a tech. I use a small screww driver w/ the tip in the hole push it left or right until it comes loose. then just un screw the pump cover. be careful the edges are razor sharp.

SOURCE: Dryer not working, indicates "lint

This is a common complaint with this dryer. The probe generating this problem,is at fault. It likely has a film on it,from the dryer sheets.Remove the lint screen, and wipe down the probe that sticks into the air box.Should fix the problem,if not ,replace the probe.

Pump won't drain water and keeps faulting for pump cleaning. Have turned it off, unplugged pump filter, cleaned it and restarted it several times with no luck. What else could be wrong??

Check to see if there is a drain filter. My GE has a small "door" at the bottom of the machine that has a filter behind it. If so ALL of the water will drain when you open it so be prepared. Then clean all of the junk from inside the filter or "trap"

My dryer runs for several minutes, then starts beeping and an error code E: 01 is displayed. I've tried unplugging it for 30 minutes, but that was no help. Any ideas?

Hello,

This means that the dryer is not able to exhaust correctly. Often times this is caused by kinked or blocked vent behind the dryer. If that looks ok, the vent in the wall may need to be cleaned. In this case or in most a professional dryer vent cleaner would be needed to clean the dryer vent.

One last thing you can check is the lint screen. On Bosch dryers the lint filter will become clogged from the dryer sheets. Remove the lint filter and run water through it. If water runs through, the lint filter is good.

I know this unit well and can assists you with any repair related question you have.

CF is displayed on my humidifier...what is that?

Check Filter Indicator

The ability of any humidifier to efficiently supply humidity output relies heavily on the

condition of the filter. As the filter loads with impurities it gradually loses its wicking

capability. When this happens, moisture output is reduced and the humidifier has to work

longer to satisfy the selected setting. This humidifier has a check filter reminder timed to

appear after 720 hours of operation. When the Check Filter (CF) message is displayed,

disconnect the power cord and check the condition of the filter. If a build-up of deposits or

severe discoloration is evident replace the filter to restore maximum efficiency. The CF
message is reset when the humidifier is plugged back in.

Washer keeps saying suds or blocked pump and stops

This is because you are using too much soap or the wrong kind of soap. HE soap should be used and only the measurement specified on the label. May also be due to lint and other debris in the pump filter. Open the panel and remove the filter screen from the drain line and clean it out. This has to be done often on front load machines.

I had a similar problem with the pump not working and the water flowing into the main drainage bucket instead. I had to disassemble the housing...not an easy project to reassemble...and found that the pump has its own smaller drainage tank with a float device, a pump pre-filter, the actual pump, then of course, more drainage tubes. The entire pump drainage system of components needed cleaned of accumulated, mucoid, slime! I cleaned the channel in which water flows into the pump's tank...located on the screen filter side of the dehumidifier. Then I moved to the other side of the dehumidifier and cleaned-out the entire pump drainage tank. Note that the pump's drainage tank only empties about 1/2 inch of water each time the pump activates. Thus, there is always alot of water in the pump's drainage tank. Thus, alot of time for slime to accumulate. Next, I cleaned off the float mechanism. I then cleaned-out the pump's pre-filter. Cleaning out the pump's pre-filter was paramount to the pump functioning properly and quietly! I checked that my pump was properly installed and NOT rubbing against its mounting so that it operated quietly. I added fresh water to the pump's tank several times to insure that the pump was working properly and that all slime was eliminated. Finally, I reassembled the housing...not an easy task! My pump now functions like new. All this work had to be done to insure proper function of the dehumidifier's pump system. My dehumidifier is only 11 months old. It is still covered by the one year warranty, but it is too expensive to ship the entire unit, as Delonghi requires you to do at your expense for them to fix it under warranty. You can be assured that I will check for future slime build-up to keep my dehumidifier functioning properly. The dehumidifier works great, it's just that it's high maintenance.
