It is simple . Before the process make sure the the power is off .. There screws on the back after removing them you can lift the top n easily remove the none working ones . You can buy the spear ones online or local shop . I have done it myself or search YouTube with model number youse come a cross with repair option . Good luck .
The two leads from the burner fit into a socket in the stove top. It's a bit tricky to get it in just right. If the three metal "legs" on the burner fit snugly into the three slots on the stovetop you did it right.
Try Google your manufacture name model # and the word parts. This will not correct your lighting problem. It sounds like you have a igniter switch problem.
always unplug electricity before attempting to repair on any electrical appliance

Hi,
Here is a tip that I wrote to give details about why your cooktop will not
spark to light the burners..
thromo stat bad the tempature knob has a gas valve attached to it along with two gas lines you will have to remove the oven to acess all lines as they run on the backside of the case remove the burners and gas input line copper line remove gas supply tube to all burners remove valve and take to dealer they need the numbers off the vavle for exact repacement not just the numbers off the stove itself east fix with simpl hand tools thermost has a themocouple attached to burner assembly and this is your problem bad part is themocouple is built into thermostat and is no serviceable only fix is to replace "thermostic gas valve"
This part can cost over $400. It is usually not worth fixing. NEVER operate the stove with a cracked top. This is tempered glass and it can just explode! It is also a dangerous electrical issue. Liquid can drip down through the crack and contact the live open element.
