How do I get a tv code for hannspree TV - Hannspree Televison & Video

Heres what it says:
DirecTV does include Hannspree remote codes in some of their remotes. Their Big Button Remote does have us listed under 11348, 11351 and 11352. However, these codes may not work for Hannspree Xv series.

Supposedly there are "learning" remotes that will work, however I can not verify or recommend one that does.

I have a Hannspree 42" LCD and I have the exact same problem, the code worked to control all functions except "Power On". I checked the Hannspree web site's support section, it says that their TVs will not work with a universal remote unless you have DirecTV. So why does everything work except to turn it on if they claim their TVs do not work with other remotes?
