SOURCE: I have a Honeywell non programmable thermostat. Two zone boiler in floor system. Neither of the thermostats are showing any digital display and can't be turned on. Any ideas?

You have a problem with the boiler. It has lost it's supply voltage or low/control voltage. Check any breakers to it. If it has an access panel, be sure it is on and secure. We don't have many boilers here in Texas so this may not help you at all but it's worth a chance. You may need to call a technician.

Testimonial: "thank you - it turns out the thermostats weren't even connected. I figured out the boiler - but it still wouldn't heat the house. A real joke - the former owner was a scammer."

Won't let me put in seperate set points for cooling and heating. I reset to fac setting, it used to let me have 2 settings.

by reviewing your information that you provided you state that the unit in a non-programmable unit, that means you have to use the pre-set options, they cannot be changed, only someone that is a programmer, if you want a programmable unit than you should buy one, because every time something goes wrong you have to re program the unit. good luck

Even after replacing the battery, the programmable Honeywell thermostat still shows "Low Batt."

Turn control to off. Remove the batteries for at least one hour. If the display message still reads "bat lo", leave control off, batteries out, and disconnect the red wire on back and wait another hour. Reconnect red wire, put new batteries in and turn system on. It's like a reboot.

Forced Hot Air Heating system doesn't maintain thermostat setting

It sounds like you may have issues with the furnace. A qualified professional can go over the system and the house to let you know if the system and unit are properly sized. The poor performance of a furnace can be a sign of carbon buildup in the furnace.
Good luck, hope this helps.
