Most of the time the capacitor is listed on the motor, if not it should be on the capacitor itself. If it's enclosed you may have to remove the cover to find it,

SOURCE: GE Washing Machine Replacement Motor - Capacitor? Relay? Schematic?

The new units have all of your schematics, capacitor and a higher price for a reason. With GE I avoid used parts because there is so much electronics you don't want to fry. The wire harness leads match the old and there should not be an extra wire, were would it go if there is not a receptacle for it?
I looked up your unit and the motor replacement is WH20X10009 for the model you quoted. As of now GE is has updated this to model wh20x10006 for around 263 dollars.

SOURCE: wiring diagram for electricmotor with capacitor

I do not have a diagram for you, but depending on the motor, I can tell you a couple of things. 1. All capacitors are wired in series with the start winding. Most multi-speed motors, that require capacitors, have two brown leads, along with the motor winding leads. If this is the scenario, then just connect line power to neutral and the speed you wish to use, and connect the two brown leads, one to each side of the capacitor. Hope this helps.

Can i use a 50hz 220V SPLIT TYPE AIRCON TO 60HZ 220V

you probably can but it will be damaged over time, you would need to replace the motor inside to handle 60hz using the 50hz can do damage to the motor, or even cause a fire. also if it has a power capacitor that asys 50hz on the power line to the unit inside this would been changing as well.

I have a 3/4 horse 115-203-230volt motor everything is hooked up correctly according to the specs but it will run for a few real good and shut off what can be the issue

Is the motor thermal overload tripping? This usually happens when the start capacitor does not switch in when the motor starts. Look at the centrifugal switch in the back of the motor under the cover. If all is well, then the start capacitor may need replacing.

What capacitors do i need to get to replace the ones on a 6 hp motor

Due to the nature of power factor correction and other sizing criteria it is best to open the can on the motor that protects the capacitor and order a comparable unit for capacitance, number of sections (- ie, start/run versus Start or Run) plus capacity and working volts AC. Unless ordering from the original compressor supply company, most parts houses will not have a cross reference with that data.

Can I plug in a 230V 15 amp window air into my 20 amp wall outlet or is the 20 amp wall outlet not giving me enough volts. if not then how can I do this without wiring up a new circuit/outlet?

Hi, the amps would be OK, but you have to have a 230 volt outlet to plug it into, or it will not run. There is no other way to do this unless you run a 230 volt line over to the window unit. You can do this from the outside of the house. This is all you can do unless you move the a/c to where you have a 230 volt plug, and I don't think you want that. This is the only way I am sorry to say.

Need to convert my 110 volt 15amp to 240 volt

You can buy a transformer which allows all 110v power tools to work from a 240v supply. You will also need to change the plug on the compressor to a yellow 110v type. You can buy transformers for around £25 and around £3 for the plug
