Follow these simple steps to install the Bose Connect app on your iPhone: Open App Store: Tap on the "App Store" icon on your iPhone. The App Store is represented by a blue icon with a white letter "A". Looking for Bose Connect: In the App Store, tap the search icon (magnifying glass) at the bottom right of the screen. Type "Bose Connect" in the search bar at the top of the screen. Select Bose Connect: Find the official Bose Connect application (developed by Bose Corporation) from the search and tap on it. Install the app: Click the "Get" or "Install" button on the Bose Connect app page (it may display a cloud icon with an arrow). You can use your Apple ID with Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode. Wait for installation: After clicking the "Get" or "Install" button, the app will download and start the installation. You will see a progress log in the app icon on your home screen. Open the App: Once the installation is complete, you will see the Bose Connect app on your home screen. Tap on its icon to launch the app. Install Bose Connect: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Bose Connect application and connect it to your compatible Bose audio products. Please note that your iPhone must be running a compatible iOS version to download and use the Bose Connect app. The app allows you to manage and control Bose Bluetooth features, customize settings, and update firmware for compatible Bose devices. If you encounter any issues installing or using the app, make sure your iPhone software is up-to-date and that the latest version of the Bose Connect app is available in the App Store. Also, make sure your Bose audio devices are compatible with the Bose Connect app

How can I fix connection problems with Bose Series 2 Headset? My Bose Series 2 bluetooth keeps dropping and reconnecting to my iPhone 4s on the last IOS update 7.x ... how can I fix?

Hello. I gave one of these as a gift to my friend and he had the same problem as you. I google EVERYTHING, and the Bose website states they manufacture products that are made to last, and if you have ANY problems you should contact them. What I found is there are software updates for your headset (go figure), and I think if you register with them they will email you when that happens. I know this will work because even my friend was amazed (he was ready to throw his away). This is the link to the page that will lead you to the software updates for both mac and windows:

Bose repairs

It may be expensive to have someone replace the connector. One option is to squirt some silicone around the base, being careful to still allow contact to be made to the iPod dock connector. You could get a dock extension cable (see link below). It may fit better and will reduce the strain on the Bose connector. If it's still loose, you could glue the extender cable in.

Alternatively, you could use a 3.5 mm audio cable to connect the iPod headphone jack to the Aux-in jack on the back of the Bose. Just living with it may be prudent.

When my iphone 4 3G is docked in my Bose Sound Dock, it says "This accessory is not optimized for this iPhone". I'm confused because this Bose is made to dock iPhones. Plus there is no sound....

Hello,
Unfortunately, the iphone 4 is not the same as the previous models of iphones. I have run into problems with similar products where the iphone 4 will not work, but the 3rd gen will. If you know someone else that has an iphone 4, test theirs to verify that its not a problem with your phone. There is a high possibility that your sound dock is not compatible with the i4.

Iphone wont charge on Bose iDoc

There are many devices that worked with the original iphone that will not work with the 3g. Be sure that when you buy docking stations that the Iphone 3gs is included in the list of supported devices.

I pod charges, plays, but no sound

Easy, I had this problem too. The reason it isn't playing is because its not in all the way. I was getting very frustrated with this, so I kept trying to push it onto the dock to get it all the way down.
Solution:
1. Play a song on your ipod/iphone so you can hear it through the device.
2. Connect your ipod/iphone to the docking station(Bose) so that you hear the chime(This lets you know its charging).
3. Pick up the docking station and firmly press the ipod/iphone down on the connector.
4. Keep pressing it and wiggling around until you hear the music begin to play through the docking station.
It may take a few tries, but you will get it.
Hope this helped!
