Hi, I have the Panasonic SA-EN9, and if you plug your mp3 player (I have and ipod) into the auxiliary socket you should be able to play it by pressing the AUX button on the remote provided.

This may be part of you problem........................
Hi this is the solution to the issue with the USB Error.
I recently bought one of these head units and found that when I
inserted a USB it comes up with a 'USB Error'. Well I searched on
Google and found others with the problem but no solutions. So I played
around and here is the solution that worked for me.
Try lots of different USB Drives. Mine started to work with the forth
one I tried. The size doesn't seem to be the issue as I tried a variety
of sizes both small and large. But the one that works is a old one I
have had lying about for ages (512mb) so it maybe USB 1 it may not be
but that is my best guess.
I have been using the USB almost exclusively now without any problems.
I have yet to try the SD MMC Card so I can't comment on how that works.
Hope this helps somebody out because this seems to be so far a great
little stereo, if you can find a USB drive that will work with it.
Best regards
dunncha.
