Been using A/S for several years. Today when saving a file it defaults to mono w/ much thinner sound. Is there a pref setting that I'm missing? I have uninst and reinst, no help. Any solutions?

your powerpoint file seems to be severely corrupted. You may try to open this file in PowerPoint Fix Toolbox http://www.powerpoint.fixtoolbox.com/

If if it useless follow the steps 1) Open a new presentation and use Insert --> Slides --> From existing presentation to pull in the slides from the corrupted file. This works about 50% of the time.
2) Try using the Clone Me add-in from Microsoft. It may work, it may not.

Navigate to where you installed Guitar Praise (Usually C:\Program Files\Digital Praise\Guitar Praise by default)
Then copy \common\client\prefs.cs to your Guitar Praise ProgramData folder
(Usually C:\ProgramData\Digital Praise\GP\Guitar Praise\)
Then right click and change it's properties so it is no longer read only.
Next open that prefs.cs file in Notepad and change the line
$pref::Video::profiledRenderer = "OpenGL"; so it says $pref::Video::profiledRenderer = "Direct3D";
Also change the Video::allowOpenGL from "1" to "0"
and the Video::preferOpenGL from "1" to "0"
Finally save your changes and watch the game work.

Do you mean that you want to save the letter as a PDF file? That is the default file type of Adobe Acrobat. Did you install the Smart Thru software? You should double-click the icon for the program and then select Scan to File. Set the file type to PDF when you save the scan. Alternatively, add Adobe application into Printer Setting Utilities. Make the Adobe application the default.

Third party software is available to do this as well if you do not want to use the Smart Thru software. Paperport is the software that I use most.

SYMPTOMS
When you start Microsoft Greetings 2000, you may receive one of the following error messages:

One or more components are missing or broken. WMF graphics filter is missing.

Wmf graphics filter is missing.

CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the Windows Metafile (WMF) graphics import filter is damaged or missing.

RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, rename the Wmfimp32.flt file:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files or Folders.
- In the Named field, type wmfimp32.flt.
- In the Look in box, click Local hard drives, and then click to select the Include Subfolders check box.
- Click Find Now.
- Right-click the Wmfimp32.flt file, and then click Rename.
- Type wmfimp32.old.
- Press ENTER.
- Close the Find: Files Named Wmfimp32.old dialog box.
- Reinstall the program.

That can be from a few things. The digitizer or calibration. If you have a screen protector take it off. Perform a reset. Then run the calibration under prefs.
There are digitizers available for these from several pda repair shops online.

Just got mine to work today. First of all, you must have a mono WAV file. I used AVS Audio Converter 6.1 to convert my stereo WAV file to mono. I used the PCM codec, Channels set to 1/0 - mono, and the bit rate automatically was set to 705 kbps. No other format would work for me. I figured it out by exporting a file to see what its specs were. The bitrate must be 705 (which is half of the normal stereo 1411 kbps). Hope this helps anyone else with a DP-02.

If the SonicWALL's admin password is lost, there is no backdoor or other mechanism to bypass the administrator login. Please note that prefs files do not contain the admin name and password. So if you reset the firmware and import a current prefs file, you can gain access using the default login credentials ('admin' & 'password'). Without a current prefs file, you must reset the firmware and configure from scratch.

For models running SonicOS (Enhanced or Standard), you can reboot to factory defaults. This resets all settings including the admin name, password and LAN IP address. Import the current prefs file. The configuration is restored and use the defaults 'admin' and 'password' to login.

For models running Firmware 6.X, you must reset the firmware (wipe and upload using the reset procedure). Import the current prefs file. The configuration is restored and use the defaults 'admin' and 'password' to login. The 'Reset to Factory Defaults' button does not reset the admin name, password or LAN IP address for these models

Re-creating the Fireworks CS4 preferences file restores settings to their defaults. To re-create the Fireworks CS4 preferences file:

1. Quit Fireworks CS4.
2. Rename the Users\[username]\Library\Preferences\Adobe Fireworks CS4 Settings\Adobe Fireworks CS4 Prefs folder to Adobe Fireworks CS4 Prefs.old.
3. Start Fireworks CS4. Fireworks creates a new Adobe Fireworks CS4 Prefs file.

For Windows

re-create the Fireworks preferences folder:

1. Quit Fireworks.
2. In Windows Explorer, go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Fireworks CS4 (where C is the start-up drive) and move this folder to another location (for example, the desktop).
3. Start Fireworks. Fireworks creates a new preferences folder.

go to your control panel then sounds and audio devices and check your settings

Well the default is to obtain the channels signal. most channels over the world their audio output signal is mono. Rare tvs have the ability to save indivisual channel to their memmoty. Read the tv prospectus!!!
