Light rear burner on stove, turn to high. Light other rear burner, turn to high. Flame height / spread should not have changed. Light front burner, watch rear, put on high. If flame on rear changes, you have a problem with has pressure on your propane system. Perhaps regulator, perhaps out of propane.

If flames stay same, turn off stove. Go to back of fridge, make sure shutoff has valve is open fully. Close and reopen. Check operation. What color is flame? If yellow, you have a blockage in air inlet of burner assembly. It will need to be pulled and checked, or problem with burner itself. If blue, but still small, take your coach to t.v. service and ask for a propane diagnostic with concentration of measurements at fridge. Might still have blockage though.

SOURCE: I have a Dometic rm2652 refrigerator the door hinge broke

the hinge is not plastic, only the insert sleeve that goes into the hole atop the door is plastic. If the actual hinge (metal arm) is broke, then you need to order a new part (not difficult if frig is 20 years or less). If you cannot find the part, go to a metal shop and show them the broken part, they usually can repair it or remake a new piece.
If the hole in the door went bad (that is: if the hole tore open and cannot hold the hinge pin) you need to have a metal repair brace added to the door. This will involve the metal shop or a good mechanic that can come to you and do the neccessary repair at the house; otherwise you need to bring the door to the metal shop. macgivor

Dometic Voluntarily Expands Refrigerator Recall

Dometic recently expanded its recall on a population of two-door refrigerators. The original recall included some two-door refrigerators manufactured between April 1997 and May 2003. The new recall focuses on models manufactured between June 2003 and September 2006.

To see if your unit is on the recall list & what to do, try the link below.
If your unit is on the list, DO NOT run your refrigerator on propane until the kit is installed

SOURCE: dometic rm2652 fridge section freezes everything

Hello Keith,

Just came across your question, hope its not too late to answer.

Your freezing problem for the fridge section is likely caused by
1) the thermistor has worked itself loose from the cooling fins.
2) the thermistor is no longer on third fin from the right
3) the thermistor is failing.

SOURCE: Dometic rm2652. Inside of fresh food section is

http://www.gasrefrigeration.net/dom_techdata/26121_2852SM.PDF

Since this unit has no compressor and uses an ammonia mix and heat to cool, it isn't your standard household refrigerator. So be careful working around the coils.

The most common failure for your problem description is the thermoster followed closely by the lower control board. But we have also been finding more and more corrosion buildup on the terminals that is keeping the unit from functioning correctly. Suggest you ohm check the thermoster to see if it has opened. If that shows an open, then replace. If that doesn't work, then take the lower control board out and clean the terminals and connectors with a scouring pad following by the #2 pencil eraser cleaning of connectors. If that doesn't correct it, then replace the lower control board.

FRIDGE WILL NOT IGNITE IN GAS MODE

The part you are looking for is the thermo couple. It senses the heat from the flame and holds the gas valve open. The clicking will try three times and then go into lock out. You then will need to reset on the front of the fridge. When installing the thermo couple do not over tighten.
