The packet data connection will available for u only when u have subscribed to the network for GPRS like airtel(Mobile office),Vodafone(Vodafone Live) etc. Then only ur problem will be solved.
1. For subscribing to the Mobile office of airtel n/w sms GPRSACT to 222, For settings sms MO to 52586.
2. for subscribing to the Vodafone live of Vodafone n/w sms ACT VL to 141.

first you activate your subscribe packet data step no1:go to your mobile main menu press it.step no2:you saw a tools icon in your menu press it.step no3:you saw a sim icon or carrier icon press it . step no3: you saw a list of multimedia messaging or internet messaging press it.step no4:then you saw a wap gprs and mms option click the wap or gprs option and your packet data is activated if problem is not solved go to your carrier service center or call service help line thanks
Packet Data not available means you have not subscribed for GPRS internet service from your Mobile Operator. Please contact the Customer Service Centre of the Mobile Network you are using to subscribe GPRS Internet.
first you need to have sufficient amount in your mobile.if you have then go to settings>connectivity>packet data>packet data settings>>edit active access pt and type the respective APN given by the mobile operator.switch off and on your phone and see the internet will be connected
To subscribe to the packet data please call your service provider.
Call them and tell your mobile model number they wil send you the settings.please save this settings and make this as a default setting.
when you make this as a default setting you can start using the GPRS.
packet data is a place where the internet settings of your mobile stores. it will only be availabe if the network provider will give a settings to your phone or else just call the customer care no. and ask them to sena a internet settings to your mobile...................have a nice day:-)
Hi, Here is the procedure for subscribing to packet data: Menu--settings--connectivity--packet data--packet data settings--edit active access point--packet data access point. Once you are at this point you will be required to type in a name for your access point: Type in "Internet" and then save your settings and exit back to standby screen.
