SOURCE: HD hookups

Generally, hum is a by-product of interference between the AC power cord and wires carrying the signal. Try and arrange the power cord to be perpendicular to the input wire. If that does NOT work, I doubt a surge suppressor has anything to do with the issue. But try that first. Also, have you installed a surge protector? If not, then maybe you could think about installing one. Hope this helps

SOURCE: ilo 27 inch hdmi/dvi hd tv monitor

Hi, I'm afraid that not only a cable is needed but an analog (vga) to digital (dvi) converter/scaler as well. The iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12 can hook up to a PC using the DVI-I connection only. As you said, your computer has the standard 1D15 pin VGA connector. Another possibility is if your video card has a composite video output (normally a color yellow RCA female) or an S-Video output which will both connect direct to your iLo LCD Display V27DMBX-U12. For the RCA connection all you need is an ordinary RCA to RCA shielded wire cable and for the S-Video, an S to S Video cable will work. There is of course the question about the quality or the resolution. Good luck and hope that this be of some help to you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.

SOURCE: Intel 865G drivers

Have you tried downloading the newest most up-to-date drivers availiable? If not I would try that first.

If that fails to work, I would check and see if there are any bios updates as the video card is part of the motherboard. However, I would think that since it works without the drivers, it would be a driver issue, not bios. When you have the drivers installed, does the video show up while booting and then fail in Windows?

You may also be hitting a range or resolution that is not supported by your TV. That being said, you could check your TVs owner manual for supported modes. If you do not have your owners manual, try setting the video card at some different resolutions with a monitor, shut down, plug back into the tv, and then restart the computer. If you find one that works, great!

you would need an HDMI to VGA adapter. sometimes it would come in a form of a separate cable or just a regular adapter which would convert the HDMI end to VGA (the blue one that has 15 pins)
you can purchase these cables from your local computer store.

Using with a laptop

Connection the monitor depends on the connections you have out of your Toshiba laptop.

The monitor has both VGA and DVI.

If the Toshiba has a VGA out, all you need is a VGA cable available online, computer or electronics store.

If the Toshiba has an HDMI out, you can connect it to the DVI on the monitor with an HDMI cable and an HDMI to DVI Adapter.

You can also use USB out with either a VGA converter or a DVI converter (go with DVI for the better picture). Converters can be found online at Amazon, you may also need a standard male to male DVI cable to use with the converter.

Can not connect hdml wire to my philips led tv with my dell laptop. what to do

If your laptop does not have a HDMI port then you need a VGA to HDMI converter. Connect this converter to your laptop and then connect it to the TV using a HDMI cable. You also need to connect the audio out port on the laptop to the audio in on the TV. You can get a combined audio input with some HDMI converters.

Lenovo 3000 n200 built in camera not working in windows 7

Instructions

1

Identify why you need an HDMI connection from your computer. Because the 2764 does not have an HDMI port, you will need to obtain some sort of adapter to connect to an HDMI device. There are a number of different ways to achieve that connection.
2

Purchase an external USB video card with an HDMI output. These devices have a number of benefits, including the ability to display a different image on the HDMI output than that which is being displayed on the screen. One example of these devices is the Sabrent USB-2011 which can display a 1080p HD signal over its HDMI connector. Other devices will also include support for audio and send it along the HDMI wire with the video signal.
3

Use a DVI-to-HDMI adapter if you have a Lenovo ThinkPad USB Port Replicator with Digital Video. This device takes the computer's existing video card and displays its signal over DVI. DVI-to-HDMI adapters are both affordable and easy to obtain.
4

Convert the computer's VGA output directly to HDMI. Because VGA is an analog signal and HDMI digital, doing this requires a special piece of hardware such as the StarTech VGA to HDMI converter with audio. Simple VGA to HDMI cables will not work, due to the lack of digital output from the T400's VGA port.

Dell Inspiron 2200 to Phillips 47 " TV

check this out http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/762913.html *A VGA connector and cable are used to carry analog video signals plus display and graphics data. The VGA is a 15-pin connector commonly found on laptops and other devices. With this port you need a PC-to-TV Convertor to connect laptop to TV. You simply plug the VGA cable from the source into the convertor, and use an S-Video or RCA cable out to the TV. The converter is USB powered, so there’s no external power adapter to carry around, making this laptop to TV connection entirely portable. you will need a seperate audio cable unless you are going to use your laptop's speakers
