From the phone connected to the unit I believe that you dial your number and push # or 0 and you will get your menus fir the phone and select the options for voicemail. From another phone you need to have the password/ number to access the mail by dialing the number and immediately push 0. I hope that help as I lost my meanie to and answering from memory. God bless

You guys had the owner manual scanned on your web site so I just RTFM ;~).
To clear the voicemail light on the base unit, first press the Redial button on the phone, then hold down the Clear button on the phone for a few seconds. The light should go out.
Here's a tip: I wrote down the above instructions on a small piece of paper and taped them to the back of the phone. You could also tape the note on the inside the battery door.

Your phone does not have an internal answering machine/voicemail function. It only allows you to retrieve voicemail messages if you subscribe to voicemail service through your telephone service provider. Access and other features vary by telephone company and location, so you need to contact your phone company for specifics. The voicemail light on your phone lets you know if you have new messages on your phone company system. To disable this light if you do not subscribe to this service:
- Press PROG
- Use the up/down arrow keys to select CLR VOICEMAIL
- Press SELECT. The screen displays CLEAR? and YES flashes.
- Press SELECT to confirm. You will hear a confirmation tone.
