SOURCE: 2 new bulbs, still dim picture

It could be a dirty projection lense or the light engine is malfunctioning by a slipped lense in front of the color wheel or the light engine is dirty it self. They are not two hard to take out if the mounts have set marks on them then it is easy to put the engine the way it was.

SOURCE: picture quality of my LG Projection TV is very poor

To do this, press the ENTER button on the TV and the MUTE button on the remote at the same time. After 5 seconds the screen should come up and it will read "Lamp use time...Total lamp use time ....lamp reset" Press the center button on your remote (the circle button right in the middle of the four directional buttons) and you will be reset to -0- again. Your orange light should now be off.

I have a PT 56DLX25 Panasonic hd projection tv that has a dim picture and we just put in a new bulb

Have you tried to do a system reset after installing the new bulb? I'd also check all of the visual settings, now that you've replaced the bulb, the settings will be different. Good luck! Chris [email protected]

I have a Mitsubishi WD-65735 model TV. The screen is getting really dim, or dark. I was thinking it might be the bulb, but want to make sure before I spend the money on it

Hello,

Yes, it is obviously the bulb. The symptom of your TV is related to that of the bulb. You guessed right.

Go ahead and replace the bulb. Don't fret. It the screen will come back to normal once you replace the bulb.

Your sincerely.

Screen fades occasionally. Perfetc and them fades dark for about 5 min. Is that the bulb? Howmuch is a new bulb?

Make sure that in the settings that your TV isn't setup to auto dim. I remember I had a similar problem. I think when ever a light would turn on or someone would walk near the TV it would get dim. It was really annoying. Check your settings. Good luck

How to clean Mitsubishi TV WD-52327 fliter

Remove the 2 screws in the access panel on the left rear side of the tv. You will see the filter behind it. Rinse the filter in warm water until clean. Lay it flat on a paper towel and fold the other half of the paper towel over it. Press gently on the towel to soak up most of the water, and install it in the tv.

Mits 46805 - Replaced IC's now picture is dim!

Good Day, Nickb2b;

The IC's you installed will not cause a dark/dim picture......but I would like you to check two things:

1. Make sure you put all cables that you may have unplugged into their proper positions, the cables are marked with numbers, ensure all cables are properly seated,

2. Look for fluid on the PCB's.

Good Luck, big IRISH.
