Open up Wmp an then go to more options and select "Rip music" tab and at the bottom there will be an option to change the speed to 128kbps.

The two parts are each shaped like L's. While holding the release button, pull the two parts away from each other.

I reformat my olympus ws 100 on a mac and, erase everything, and the computer didnt want to recognized it. When turn on the display showed check and went off. When turn on without connecting to the computer and without the hold the display showed no format. If you use the foward button you can change the display to yes format and press play to select. That solve the problem.
