I would replace mouse and I would replace keyboard, to ensure that they are compatible. I would buy a combo kit on sale. In my onion a $100 mouse does not any better that a $10.00 mouse.

Vaio wireless MOUSE VGP-WMS1

Sony VAIO don't need special drivers. These have special receivers that ONLY work with intended models. The receiver is connected via USB inside the computer and it has a button that says "Connect" you have to press it simultaneously on the computer and the mouse or keyboard in order to pair it.

if you don't have the correct Sony VAIO computer you don't have that hardware that connects to the mouse and keyboard.

Have a Sony VAIO desktop with a wireless mouse, VGP-WMS4. The left mouse button is getting flakey. I'd just like to replace the mouse. Is there any other wireless mouse that will work with this

I have the same model of mouse, and ended up replacing the microswitches rather than buying a new one - relatively straightforward, but I've been soldering for around 40 years!

Keyboard is not working on new Vaio laptop.

Once you have checked the batteries in the keyboard, then push the tiny little button on the side of the computer around the peripheral plug ins. After pushing that, hit the connect button on the wireless device. They should be re-syncd.

If you still have trouble with the keyboard it may be defective.
