How do I disconect pole from ry43161 ryobi pole saw

SOURCE: I have a RYOBI pole

I assume you have the Ryobi powerhead with the multiple tool shaft (can use it with an edger, blower, trimmer, and pole saw) If so, does the powerhead square drive spin when you squeeze the throttle trigger? Does the chain move freely on the saw end when not connected? Is the attachment fully inserted into the powerhead shaft (small spring-loaded button should pop out of the hole when fully inserted.

SOURCE: The chain fell off my Ryobi pole chain saw 6 amp and I can't figure out how to get cover off to fix please advise how to repair
