Re: R1 signaling and R1 modified signaling
R1-Modified enables/disables a modified version of R1 signaling (described in the ITU recommendation Q.310-332) that is required in Taiwan. Only set this option to "yes" if the unit is located in Taiwan.
I didn't ask for how to set it up... I ask for the technical differences between R1 modified and R1 "standard".
Normal R1 is like so :
A : Goes offHook, wait for B's answer and then send KP(DNIS)ST KP(ANI)ST
B : detects A's offHook, send a Wink, wait for A's sent MFs, then comes offhook.
Now, on the modified R1, what is modified? What makes it modified?

I didn't ask how to set -it up, I asked what was the difference between R1 modified and plain R1.
What part of the protocole is makes it modified...?
