I have a JT5000SFSS 30 5.0 cu. ft. Built-In Electric Single Convection Wall Oven The oven is about 2 years old now purchased new Wife turned oven to 500 degree preheat and after heating for some time the oven just stopped working. The display flashed the colon two dots between where the clock time should be Non of the buttons on the display work. No sounds or beeps. I checked braker, turned it off and waited and back on. same issue flashing dots and nothing works. I pulled oven and bypassed the thermal switch on the back and it still did not fix the issue. Does anyone know if you can not simply bypass the thermal switch on these to check? Does any one have any suggestions?
Hello, the model number is incorrect, you are missing a 4 or a 3 after the letter F. Based on the model JT5000SF4SS, the problem is the control board that also acts as a display board and touchpad, part number is WB27X25342, you can get it from RepairClinic and return it if it doesn't work.

There is usually a micro switch that is activated when the lock lever is in place - very likely this switch is still activated or has failed closed (defective) .
SOURCE: OVEN will not heat
KitchenAid KEBC107KSS does not heat hot enough and does not heat evenly. When the temperature is dialed higher, it burns the cookies. When the convection fan is on, it has a 'cooling effect' so the temperature never reaches the proper level. Is this problem repairable? Or is this a thermostat issue? Thank you for your help!

It will remain locked until the temperature is safely as low as it should be. You just have to wait and be patient.
Hey friend, thanks for your post!
I see that your Electrolux wall oven is displaying an "F14" error code. "F14" stands for display tail missing, which means you could have an issue within your main control board or keypad. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by flipping your household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would suggest seeking a professional to come out properly diagnose and repair your appliance. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
