My Necchi super utility was rattling in the area where the light bulb is then it just stop working.

In that case, I would assume a 'short' in the wiring. Which you could find with a current tester. Hubby has one, not that he has taught me how to use it. Or - My industrial machine has no light, so I've picked up a nifty folding lamp with ? - a light source that provides solar light spectrum. Check at thrift stores, or at any Wal-Mart. Not all that pricey, now.

go online to necchi web site and look for parts or the nearest distributor /agent in your area or search for parts repair shops that carry their line of products

Clean out the bobbin area, turn off the machine, unplugg it for 24 hours. Try again

Absolutely electrical fault...if not qualified to troubleshoot, take to someone who is...and warn them !

there is a door on the left it's called a lamp cover door or a face plate- on my mechanical necchi there are hinges behind the door at the back,,gently pull open the door & the bulb will be accessible

on my other necchi there is a cap in the middle of the door with a hidden screw, gently pry the cap out & take out the screw & there is the bulb,,just reverse the process to put the door back on

The feed dog & the presser foot have to work together to feed the fabric thru the machine
The feed dog should be seen when you look at the needle plate, if not the feed dog setting should be checked--the feed dog lever may be to the right of the bobbin area
Open the light bulb door also called the Lamp Cover door or Face Plate,, there should be a knob at the top round or star shaped,, that adjusts the needle bar that puts pressure on the presser foot,, it may have numbers or letters, mine is a star shape & has numbers on it & is set between the 2-3
Adjust it a little at a time & then sew to see which setting is best for your machine

Make sure the stop motion wheel is tight, make sure you do not have any thread stuck in the raceway area if you get a buzzing sound from the motor

it's the same size as a night light bulb. That's how I replaced mine. You can pick one up at any hardware or dept store.

You can also use a Eureka vacuum cleaner belt, can't remember the exact model, but the package says it's for most sewing machines. It's not the V belt, but it works on my Super Nova and it's 1.79 for two!
