I dropped my galaxy s7 yesterday and the screen went black but I also have a glass casing on the back of myyour phone can I take it off myself and fit it?

If when you try powering up the phones and the keypad just lits up then it is the flexcable that needs to be replaced.

You have damaged the delicate internal LCD beneath the more rigid touch panel......but luckily for you, it is easy to replace and rather inexpensive. Here is an example of what you need....OEM replacement with return policy.

1. REmove the battery door and battery then all the back screws.........
2. pop off the back
3. remove internal lcd and replace with new
4. close casing back with screws
5. GO!!!

Recent phones dont agree with water to much, but what you can do is pull it apart and spray it all with a electric cleaner, but if you have insurance on your phone that would be the best way to replace it, warranty wont cover it. you could try to hard reset it but most likely wont work still

In maost cases,the screen is replaceble.Check it from a local electronis store or you can try on eBay
