I need to print how to assemble a bissell proheat shampoorer

First locate screw pack (you will need a Phillips screwdriver). 2 long Phillips screws with hex nuts, 2 short Phillips screws. Should be taped to under part of handle.

2, Put upper handle into lower handle.

3, feed the power cord through the tool caddy from the flat side. Place caddy to handle so the hex shaped holes on upper portion.

4. Place the hex nut in the hex shaped hole and insert long bolt through the front of the handle. Do the same on the other screw and tighten them snuggly. Be careful not to over tighten them.

5. Insert small screws into lower 2 holes through the back side of the lower hose rack. Turn until tightened.

6. Attach tool(s) (that would be a small brush or the pet brush attachment to end of hose and on the attachment holder on front of upper handle.

7. Wrap hose around large holder closest to handle and power cord is wrapped around outer holder with rotating clamp.

Hope that helped

My kohler 2007 toilet lever came loose; want to know how the parts fit.

The bolt that holds it on is a reverse threaded bolt. Retighten it going the opposite direction. This should do it.

I installed a Moen Sage toilet paper holder. The right cover that attaches to the wall hardware via a small screw is loose and no amount of tightening corrects the problem. What am I doing wrong?

It is likely that the the mounting post on the wall has pulled loose.

You will need to remove the paper holder and inspect themounting posts; loosen the set screws in the base of the posts to do this.

Try tightening the screws holding the mounting posts to the wall. If the screws are unable to hold tight you will need to replace the wall anchors if they have been used.

Remove the mounting posts and the wall anchors and replace with new wall anchor, preferably a toggle anchor designed for sheetrock if possible.

With the wall anchors in place attach the mounting posts and install the paper holder; tightening the set screws in at the base of the posts.

Installation instructions for your product can be found here:

Kohler will try to sell you $46 anchor bolt kit 84999 & also there special tool. You should expect that for a $400 toilet.

Try this instead:
1. Use 1/8" drill bit and drill and drill around the bolt until the anchor material can be removed.
2. Carefully clean hole with 11/32 drill to remove all remaining acchor material.
3. Go local hardware store & buy a 10 - 32 3/8"X3/4" rubber expansion plug (make certain threaded part is brass & has shoulder on 1 end), a 10 - 32X1.5" Phillips bolt and couple of small fender washers fit the seat.(about $4 for 2)
4. Assemble carefully not to over tighten and crack the porcelain.

Hope it helps

Toilet seat

Here's what I did. Unscrew them as much as possible. Then I used a bolt cutter and hacksaw to cut away as much of the plastic seat holders as possible. I could then remove most of the seat, and get better access to the screws. I then raised the loose screws enough to cut them with a bolt cutter. Soft screws cut easily. The screw heads are now out. Now, tap down on the screw/anchor and it falls into the bowl. It will stay there. The remaining problem is that you need anchors to secure the new toilet seat. Kohler wants $50. I have a usable but loose seat. Never again-Kohler.
I strongly recommend using a boltcutter. A hacksaw will tear up the bowl.

I have the same problems you do and I was looking online on how to solve my problem. It seemed to me that there are no published solutions to this problem. Therefore, I thought I had to figure this out myself, and I have. Step one: put a full roll of toilet paper on the bar that retains it. Step two: use in any kind of marker preferably an auto punch inserted in the whole where the setscrew should be make sure however, the position you mark is visible after you remove the toilet paper retaining bar. Step 3:. drill a hole similar in size to the existing setscrew hole. Step four go to your local hardware store and buy a round head brass screw with an elastic stop not or a lock washer and nut to fit. Step five: install the roundhead brass screw retaining nut and washer if applicable or elastic stop not which I would recommend highly tightened. I do not think you will have that problem again. after installation toilet paper will retaining its position. I do not think that more than the simplest of tools is required to fix this would design and engineering mistake.

Required tools: small drill, auto punch, or any other marking device, and screwdriver. Possibly their pliers. Before publishing the solution, I tried it for myself is now been in operation for three weeks. No failures as of this writing. Good luck. VJS
