2007 polaris switchback 600 belt failure Only getting about 20 hours out of my cvt belt Shreds belt from the outside edge

P16A8 This Trouble Code sets if the Injector Output Supply 2 Voltage is below an acceptable limit. Can be caused by Damaged Wiring or Faulty/Shorted Connectors.

Are you sure reverse isn't locking up the engine?

That is the rev limiter kicking in.

Have you had the valves adjusted recently? If so.. the intake valves are way too tight..... if not, you may have a gasket leak in the intake tract somewhere... even a head or base gasket could be the culprit...

could be a bad bearing in the cvt cover (assuming its a cvt) replace it with a japanese bearing

either you are using low octane fuel or you need to get a new map setting. also depending on if you are running ethanol fuel or non ethanol fuel you can get a plug specifically for that and it can retard the timing slightly. that may help....

Is this a carbarated engine? If so the carbs may need a cleaning. You probable have a plugged jet.
