I have Orion sled2468w tv that loose channel programming every time you turn it off.

The main system memory IC to your TV is faulty. It should be replaced. It is a very small IC, having 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control IC.

I think you are confused. this is a very standard cheap LED HD television. Televisions don't connect to computers. If the television has a USB socket it is for technicians to do software upgrades manually using a USB Memory Stick.

Settings usually with a good USB cable, the settings on your TV when doing input go to USB where pictures and cable will show and connect from your computer to the back of TV and if doesn't work call TV company they always know the hook to this.

did it come with a one-year or a two-year warranty?

Did you buy an extended warranty, either at the retail store (Best Buy? other?) or directly from ORION?

Did you purchase it on a "premium" credit-card that "doubles" the warranty (from October 2013 to October 2014) ?

Sadly, it might be cheaper to buy a replacement than to take it to an authorized Orion repair outlet, for attempts at a repair.
