The microwave section is working fine. The convection heating is not working. I took it apart, disconnected the rear element and when I used the rear element it blows the circuit breaker of the powerboard or house. I saw a mighty spark inside the oven at the bottom of the control panel where the relays are located. On investigation, one realy was blackend inside. I unsoldered it and checked it with a multimeter, but it was still fine. The contacts are still working just fine. I could not locate any short circuits on the controller board or in the wiring to the rear element. I also found no connection between the live wire to the element and ground. I also checked the thermal fuses/breakers and they appear to be working fine, no shorts. Can anyone suggest what else to look for before I put it all back together and ditch it?

Ouch...sounds like the control module is blown. Thats the electronic timer. I've known this happen on several occasions. Bad luck!

When you use your self clean feature, your oven heats up to over 800 degrees and this normally takes your electronic computer control board out.

We had the same thing happen and now they came and said it was the clock that needs to be replaced. They said that controls the oven. Even though clock is on and working the function for turning on the oven is not
