SETTING THE WAKE TIME You can select two different wake times for music or alarm to turn on automatically. WAKE 1 and 2 controls are located on top of the unit behind the SNOOZE bar.
1. Slide switch to SET position. The display will change to wake time.
2. Use the FAST FORWARD, FORWARD and REVERSE buttons as needed until you reach your desired AM or PM wake time. For music, select an AM or FM station and then turn the radio off. Set wake time and then slide the switch to MUSIC. For Alarm, set wake time and then slide switch to ALARM position. If a wake time is set, an indicator in the display lights and the unit turns on in the chosen mode (alarm or music) at the set time for approximately one hour. To turn off the wake mode, slide the switch to OFF or press the OFF button. NOTE: If both Wake 1 and Wake 2 controls are in the SET position, the time of day is displayed. GE 7 4825 User Manual
If it has a wake button, push and hold the wake button while you push the hour and minute buttons to set the time to wake. It may have an alarm button instead of a wake button. Then there should be a switch to set to wake to alarm sound or music.
There are two alarms, and the steps are the same . Look on the face. On the left of the big numbers are two symbols, a 'bell' and a 'music note'. That's WAKE 1. On the right of the big numbers are two symbols, a bell and music note. That's WAKE 2. If any of these are on, then one (or both) alarms are set to repeat. Stopping repeat Wake 1 alarm. Click the Wake 1 button (on the top) several times, while looking at the face. Notice the circles that light up. It will switch back and forth between bell and music note each time you press the Wake 1 alarm button. HOLD DOWN the WAKE 1 button on the top, until both lights are off. The Wake 1 alarm is now off. Wake 2 alarm: Same steps, but for the green circles on the right side of the face. Get a piece of paper, write "HOLD DOWN WAKE BUTTON to stop repeating alarm" and tape it to the back of the clock.
Make sure that there are no magnetic interference to the speakers. Its should be because the speakers are kept near some electronic or magnetic device...
Just try moving the speakers and notice if there is a change in the buzzing, if yes... then its definitely some interference on them.

The Wake 1 alarm is now off.
Wake 2 alarm:
Look at green circles on the right side of the face. HOLD DOWN WAKE 2 BUTTON until both circles are unlit.
The Wake 2 alarm is now off.
Get a piece of paper, write "HOLD DOWN WAKE BUTTON to stop repeating alarm" and tape it to the back of the clock.
Remove the batteries and any power source for 10 minutes. This should go back to factory defaults. Sounds like a stat problem honestly. I would exit the program and change temps manually at all times.
From the manual (miraculously, I still have it)...
To switch the alarm sound between buzzer, church bells, radio or CD, press MODE one time, and then press REPORT.
If CD is selected, press TUNING up (>>+) or down (-<<) to select desired wake-up track.
When alarm sounds, press ALM ON/OFF to silence alarm and reset it for the next day.
SNOOZE-BOOST
To postpone the alarm once it sounds, press SNOOZE/LIGHT. Each press of this button will add 10 minutes to the postponement time. (Pressing three times will give you a 30-minute delay).
