My airconditioner has been on energy saver for almost 2 days and will not come on what should be do

If this is a window or wall unit. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the unit and wait 12-15 minutes. Then, plug the unit back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON. Set the controls on anything except energy saver. If the unit then operates as it should, let it run for at least an hour before switching it to Energy Saver Mode. If that's the way you want to operate it. If it doesn't restart and run like it should or it shuts OFF on Energy Saver Mode, there is a problem with one of the setting sensors and needs to be replaced.

Also, while you have the unit unplugged, check the outlet to make sure it's still active. You can do this by plugging in a lamp. If the lamp doesn't work, the circuit breaker for that outlet has been tripped in your home's circuit breaker panel and needs to be reset. When you plug the AC unit back in and it trips the breaker again, there is an electrical short or overload in the AC Unit.

Please keep in mind everything I suggested is based on your AC being a 120 volt window or wall unit.

Hope this helps you solve the problem.

What degree should I keep it on? 66 or 79? I can't find the manual

79 will mean that your house will be 79 degrees inside, I would think you would rather 75 or lower number. The lower the number the colder you want the room to get and the harder the AC will have to work for you.

Amana Refrigerator cooling problem

The energy saver switch doesn't really save you anything, all that does is turn off the mullion heater circuit which if you really add up the pennies on your electric bill, might save you enough in one year to cash in for a bite size snickers bar... leave that off. Replace the operating thermostat (freezer thermostat) to correct this problem. If you're concerned with being green, after you replace the thermostat, turn on the energy saver and see if this makes any difference, it shouldn't in operating temperatures. Wiring and diagrams are usually available at sears, or by visiting searspartsdirect.com.

This is the link to find the manual for your unit. Make sure the model number is correct. You should be able to find the info you are looking for if it is possible to disable the energy saver. Hopefully this will help.

Rinaai LP space heater will not shut off when set temp is reached

Test the thermistor by using an ice cube. Place the cube on the thermistor and see if the unit starts. Then using a warm towel, wrap the thermistor ans see if it stops. Watch the display to see if it is registering the changes in temp. I suspect a bad thermistor.

I can't get my camera to work with my messenger program, can you help (AOL, Yahoo, MSN)? I have a mac book pro, and i try to use the built in camera, and it shuts off ever 2 min, or so, and i have to...

Have you gone into System Preferences (click on Apple icon, top left of screen) and changed the Energy Saver settings? If the Energy Saver settings are set too low, your Mac will shut down.

Lg 10000 btu ac wall unit

if you remove the front cover you should see a little sensor with a wire. you need to make sure it has not fallen off its bracket or came off form the evaporator. if it looks to be ok and mounted correctly, you may have a bad sensor and it is not able to tell the temp and not shut the unit down. also to on very hot and humid days even though you have it set to energy saver it senses it still needs to run. If you turn the thermostat up when its on the energy saver will it shut off? and if you do the same on the regular setting will the comressor shut off and the fan stay running? Let me know and I can go from there. Thanks
